Designing & Tool Making
Equipped To Excel A S MOULDINGS PVT. LTD deploys state-of-the-art CAD-CAM technology driven with solid-Modelling software (Ideas Ver.7.0) to design dies, tools and jigs with precision to create perfect die-cast products on CNC machines. We utilize all modern techniques like Computer Aided Designing (CAD), to assist our team of experienced designers in developing proper tooling and high degree of operational reliability. We endeavour to provide every engineering detail that can affect the precise repetitive productivity of the component.
Our firm belief is that only good designing and engineering can lead to success in die casting.
   

Die, Tool making &Tool Room
Our competently staffed in-house Tool Room is fully equipped with modern equipment to produce and maintain the highest standards of tooling needed for the production of Die-castings.

The employment of CAD/CAM, EDM, Automatic Die-sinking and CNC Machine tool technology coupled with skilful technique results in outstanding Mould quality and reliability.

Having Four no. High Speed CNC Vertical Machining Centers (Deckel Maho) for die Miling Operations, Four no. CNC Digitizing Machine (Cyclone from Renishaw, UK), which converts data into machine programme for die milling. The tool room is also equipped with Plano Millers, Surface Grinders, Cylindrical Grinders, Tool and cutter Grinders, Turning Machines, Vertical Milling Machines, etc., to manufacture complexes auto components.

 
HIGH PRESSURE DIE-CASTIN

At the core of our operations, we have advanced Die-Casting equipment ranging from 60 to 1500-Tonnes locking pressure. These are capable of producing Complex, Functional and Decorative castings in a wide range of sizes in Aluminium & Zinc Alloys.

 

A S MOULDINGS PVT. LTD's  contemporary high-tech technology coupled with decades of experience, assures excellent surface finish, high integrity & density, repeatability and consistent quality.

Centralized Melting with individual thermostatically controlled holding furnaces ensure correct melting temperatures and practices resulting in production of dense casting with minimum porosity. Many castings are bi-metallic and include Steel Inserts and Alloyed Cast Iron Rings.

Secondary processing includes specialized hand deburring, belt-sanding, cosmetic buffing, vibro finishing and shot blasting. Painting, plating and specialized finishes are sub-contracted to customer approved sources

 

Machine Shop

In order to provide precise finished components having accuracy in micron levels, the company has strengthened its machine shop by adding following equipments Four Nos.

CNCTC - 31 A Tapping Center Of Brither Japan. Four Nos. BMV-40-TC-20 Vertical Machining Center-BFW Banglore. Five Nos. DMC 63 V Vertical Machining Center Of Deckle V Maho Germany. Two Nos. CNC Turning Center Of Glide Master with other dedicated. SPM forms the backbone of the Machine Shop

Predetermined air pressure is introduced above the surface of molten metal in a sealed furnace, and this pressure forces hot metal up a feed tube into the closed die-cavity.

This is an excellent process having higher yield as compared to gravity castings. The castings produced also have superior surface finish, denser structure and all without involving higher tooling cost.
A S Mouldings Pvt. Ltd is producing various castings including cylinder heads for four cylinder cars.
 

Aluminum Casting

  • A S Mouldings Pvt. Ltd has over 76 HPDC (High Pressure Die Casting Machines) from 135 tns to 1800 tns locking force.
  • A S Mouldings Pvt. Ltd would be the largest high pressure die casting capacity in India.
  • A S Mouldings Pvt. Ltd is currently producing 45 million high pressure die cast components per annum.
  • Current HPDC machines are from Buhler, Toshiba, UBE etc.
  • Alloys produced today : ADC 12,14, LM24, A 380, A 383 and ENAC46500

GRAVITY  DIE-CASTING

Gravity casting employs steel moulds which allow castings to be produced more accurately and cheaply. Tooling costs are lower than those needed for high pressure die-casting. The slower chilling gives excellent mechanical properties whilst non-turbulent filling ensures production of heat treatable castings with minimal porosity.
A S Mouldings Pvt. Ltd is having PLC controlled hydraulic gravity casting machines with mechanised movements of the die to increase production rates and improving consistency.

The machines have side cores in different axis. Among various castings being produced A S Mouldings Pvt. Ltd manufacturer various petrol and diesel engine intake manifold

 which covers full range of conventional machines including milling, drilling,
 tapping, boring & turning.
For the more complex, sophisticated and high precision requirements,
A S MOULDINGS PVT. LTD offers CNC turning & vertical machining centres.
The product when it leaves our factory is ready for use onto the assembly line.
